Running late? Keep clients informed without changing the calendar
When your day runs behind, send selected clients an estimated new time while keeping their original appointment times in the calendar.
A grooming session takes longer than expected, and the next client is already on the way. You can let selected clients know about the delay and an estimated new time without moving their appointments in the calendar.
Send an update from the calendar
- Open Notify clients of a delay in the calendar.
- Select today's appointments that have not started yet.
- Set Delay (minutes).
- Add a Reason (optional) if it helps explain the delay.
- Check the messages in Preview, then send them to the clients you selected.
Each selected client receives a message with the estimated new time. Review the preview so the update matches what is happening.
The calendar stays as scheduled
The delay message informs clients; it does not move appointments or change their times in the calendar. If an appointment itself needs a new time, update it separately in the calendar.
A simple way to set expectations
Send an update once you know there is a delay, and select only appointments that have not started. Clients get an estimate while your calendar continues to show the times that were booked.
